I started working with my fiancé to help grow a home based business as an independent distributor with It Works Marketing, Inc. We were both able to supplement our full time jobs with income generated due to increasing sales and building a sales team.
As a Top 350 point earner in the entire company of over 90,000 distributors, my fiancé and I earned a free company cruise to Cozumel and the Bahamas with It Works! Global. We also earned a Get Out of Debt Bonus of $10,000 as a promoted distributor. We assembled a sales team of over 400 distributors and brought in over $20,000 in monthly sales volume during our most successful month.
Challenges in the business included communicating and training new team members, for which we utilized Zoom video conference and Google Hangouts for virtual communications. We traveled to and led new team member launch parties, as well as attended health fairs, bridal expos, and trade shows. We partnered with local retail to offer product demos, including Origins, 5 Fitness and Barre 3.
As part of a company challenge, we participated in a lip-sync challenge. Our video ended up going viral on Facebook, getting over 20K views and 143 shares.
